Client Rights Officer The Client Rights Department advocates
for the rights and protection of the clients served at Mental Health Mental Retardation
of Tarrant County (MHMRTC).
Advocacy for client’s rights and protections is accomplished by the actions of the
Client Rights Officer by:
MHMRTC Complaint Line Anyone with a question or complaint
about the health, safety, welfare, legal, or human rights of a client is urged to
call: 1-888-636-6344 or contact Client Rights at ClientRights@mhmrtc.org.
participating in training employees
investigating allegations of rights violations
receiving and evaluating all complaints received on the complaint line
representing the rights of clients during staff meetings
serving as a member on the Human Rights Committee
serving as a member on the Institutional Review Board
serving as liaison with Protective and
Family Services - Texas Department of State Health Services - Texas Department of Human Services - and other licensing
providing consultation to families and clients
