Services for families may include:
- Education and counseling
- Help finding social and health services
- Support groups
- Activities with child and parent together and/or just with the parent to address parent-child
relationship issues, family stress, difficult child behaviors, related to sleeping, eating or coping
, and similar concerns
Services for children may include:
- Screenings and assessments to identify your child"s strengths, developmental needs
and your family's concerns
- Physical, occupational, speech and language therapy and activities related to motor
and language development
- Consultation with therapists
- Activities to develop learning and eating skills
- Activities to help social and emotional development including behavior
- Assistive technology: services and equipment designed or changed for special use
by children with developmental delays
- Moving on to school or other services, as needed, at age 3 or when graduating from
the program
- Nutritional services
- Supporting child care or preschool teachers of enrolled children
