At just 16 years old, Joe was skipping class, smoking pot, and
hanging around with a neighborhood gang. In addition to his trouble
at school, he was experiencing a great deal of stress at home. His
parents were in a rocky relationship, and he was bouncing around
between living with his mom and living with his dad.
When he was referred to The Campus
(formerly Tarrant Youth Recovery Campus), Joe realized that
he had the power to turn his life around. He immediately began
weekly counseling sessions and became involved in some pro-social activities like working out and boxing.
After months of treatment and hard
work, Joe was a changed young man.
Since leaving The Campus, he is
no longer affiliated with his gang, he
remains drug-free, and he regularly
attends high school. He even found a
part-time job at a body shop. Thanks

was able to take the path to recovery
