Is there a waiting list?

There is a waiting list for some non-emergency services. Some programs are limited in the number of people that can be served. These programs maintain waiting lists which are prioritized based on clinical need.

How long does it take to get an appointment?

Routine eligibility appointments are available within 14 days or sooner if clinically indicated. At the conclusion of that appointment, an appointment is made for eligible individuals to see a doctor.

How do I get to see the doctor?

Visits with the doctor are scheduled after an applicant's needs are assessed and the person is found to be eligible for services and in need of treatment.

What if I can’t pay for services?

Each person requesting services is assessed regarding their ability to pay. Fees are calculated based on a sliding scale. In some cases, no fee is assessed. Patients who have third party coverage for care such as Medicaid are expected to use their benefits.

What if I can’t afford the medications?

The cost of medications is included in the assessment of a person's ability to pay. Medications are provided at no cost if the assessment indicates that the person has no ability to pay.

Consumers are provided a choice of service providers and locations when possible.
